Being a member of Vela Canada is a simple and impactful way to support Vela and the individuals and families we work with. A Vela Membership allows us to continue our work by enhancing an inclusive society, creating Microboards for children, helping families transition their children to adult services, and building and maintaining the systems that provide individuals with disabilities with basic human rights to choose how they live, who they spend their time with, and what they do each day.
A Vela membership is only $30 a year.

The Direct Impact of Your Support
Meet Luke, a young man who receives Individualized Funding (IF). Vela worked closely with Luke and his family to assist them in getting IF. By accessing IF, Luke and his family have more control over how the funding is utilized and can hand-select their employees to create a person-centred experience for Luke.
