Join us for an informative webinar introducing the CNIB Come to Work Program and explore hiring a support worker who may be blind of partially sighted and learn strategies and accommodations to create a welcoming and accessible workplace.
Participants will learn practical ways to communicate and work effectively with people who have sight loss, including sighted guide techniques, workplace accommodations and strategies for creating an accessible work environment. This session will also provide an opportunity to increase awareness, challenge common misconceptions and build confidence when working with people with vision loss.
