How to Set Up a Person Centred Society

First Steps

  1. Look through the basic information on our website to gain an understanding of the difference between a Microboard, Person Centred Society, and Individualized Funding.
  2. Think about who you might want to sit on your Person Centred Society. Look for people who have similar values and beliefs. Talk to them and encourage them to visit our website to learn more.

Who Should We Ask

Who should you ask to be part of the Person Centred Society?

You want to ask people you can trust, who share the same values as you, and who care about your loved one, or are committed to getting to know them.

What Do Members Do

Board members spend time with the person, being a friend in whatever way is natural for those involved. Together, the Board will help the person experience a fulfilling life. Members can act as an employer or not.
